Aptos (APT) Technical Analysis: Price Outlook 2026

Aptos (APT) has recently shown signs of weakening momentum after an earlier recovery attempt pushed the token toward key resistance levels. While buyers initially managed to drive price higher, the latest rejection raises the question of whether APT is entering a broader bearish phase or simply experiencing a temporary pullback before another recovery attempt.

APT first completed an important structural step by moving above the Buy-Side Liquidity reference level near $1.125. From a technical perspective, liquidity sweeps often become decisive moments, as the market either continues higher and confirms strength or rejects the move and begins shifting in the opposite direction.

In the case of APT, price failed to sustain momentum after taking Buy-Side Liquidity and instead faced rejection around the key resistance zone near $1.25. This rejection was followed by an impulsive bearish move, which is currently the most important aspect of the structure.

On the daily timeframe, price then closed below the internal higher low of the previous bullish structure, suggesting that bullish momentum may have weakened significantly. As a result, both the internal and external structures now appear to lean more bearish. In other words, the market not only rejected the liquidity sweep but also broke below the internal bullish structure that had previously supported higher prices.

From a risk management perspective, bearish setups may remain relevant while price stays below the $1.25 resistance zone. A sustained move back above this area could weaken the bearish outlook and suggest sellers are losing control of the current structure.

If selling pressure continues, the first downside target remains the nearest Sell-Side Liquidity zone around $0.80, which represents the closest significant historical liquidity area visible on the chart. Beyond this level, historical support becomes less defined. If bearish momentum persists below $0.80, the next areas to monitor may shift toward psychological levels near $0.50 and $0.25, where increased market reactions or profit-taking activity could emerge.

Conversely, if buyers regain strength and APT manages to reclaim the $1.25 resistance area, the bearish scenario could weaken considerably and increase the probability of renewed upward momentum.

For now, APT appears to show a stronger bearish reaction following the Buy-Side Liquidity sweep. As long as price remains below the nearby resistance zone, downside targets near $0.80, followed by $0.50 and $0.25, may remain relevant areas to monitor.
