Crypto futures trading involves buying and selling crypto at a predetermined price and on a specific date in the future.

Here are the quick & easy steps on how to engage in crypto futures trading on BITmarkets:

1. Log in to your BITmarkets account, and head over to your myZone portal.

2. Next, select Futures from the market tabs located on the menu above.

3. Hover your mouse over the symbol selection menu & select the crypto asset you would like to trade.

4. Select the order type you would like to initiate.

- Pending Orders, which include Limit, Stop and Take Profit are orders set to be executed sometime in the future based on a pre-selected price level.

- Market Orders are executed immediately at the current market price of the crypto asset.

5. Enter the order size relative to the crypto coin price, quote currency or contract size.

- If you wish to leverage your trade, toggle your preferred leverage and click on Save.

6. Review the trade value relative to your available balance, total margin & unrealized profit & loss, and your wallet value.

7. Choose to either go long and Buy, or go short and Sell, confirm the order by clicking on the appropriate button, and your order has been successfully filled.

- If your order has not been filled, check if the funds in your wallet are sufficient to initiate the trading order.

8. Check out the status of your order by scrolling down to view your active orders, which includes data including the order type, size, value, status and trigger price.

9. Enter the price of trade settlement, and click on Limit. Once the position is closed, the profits/losses realized will be applied to your futures wallet.

Take advantage of our All-in-one order book where all orders are collected & matched, promising deeper liquidity, fairer pricing and larger variety.
