According to its website, Dinaro provides payment services including card issuing and acquiring, and says it holds Mastercard principal membership. Its inclusion marks the first time a Slovenia-based issuer has appeared in ESMA’s EMT dataset.
The latest update also brought changes to the EU register of authorized crypto-asset service providers (CASPs), which now includes 325 companies. New additions include Czech lender Partners Banka and Germany’s Volksbank Beilstein-Ilsfeld-Abstatt.
At the same time, Czech company Altlift no longer appears on the register. The firm was first added in early July with authorization to execute and transmit client orders and provide crypto-asset advice. Its authorization notification was dated June 30.
With Dinaro’s addition, the EU’s EMT register now contains 43 entries. Meanwhile, the register for asset-referenced token (ART) issuers remains empty, while the list of non-compliant entities was unchanged at 167.
