Litecoin (LTC) has shown renewed strength after breaking out of a multi-week trading range, attracting attention from traders looking for signs of a stronger recovery. The recent move suggests buyers are becoming more active, but the coming days will be important in determining whether Litecoin can build on this momentum or slips back into its previous range.

LTCUSD - 1 Day Time Frame

Since the beginning of June, Litecoin had been trading within a corrective range, with the lower boundary around $39 and the upper boundary around $46. From a market structure perspective, this type of price action often represents liquidity building on both sides of the market. As price remains within a narrow range, traders frequently place Stop Loss orders below the lows and above the highs.

In recent days, however, the picture has changed. Litecoin moved above the upper boundary of the range, likely sweeping the Buy-Side Liquidity resting above $46. This was an important technical event, as it tested whether buyers were willing to accept higher prices after the breakout.

The key observation is that Litecoin did not immediately reverse lower with a similarly impulsive move. Instead, price accepted the breakout area and established a new support zone around the former range high. This strengthens the bullish scenario, as previous resistance is now acting as support.

Litecoin (LTC) price target

Based on the current structure, a long position may be considered, with potential Take Profit levels located at the nearest Buy-Side Liquidity zones around $53, $55, and $61. These levels represent logical upside objectives, as price often continues toward higher liquidity areas after breaking out of a well-established range.

The key condition for this bullish scenario is that Litecoin continues to hold above the lower boundary of the newly formed support zone, specifically $46 on the daily timeframe. As long as price remains above this level, the bullish outlook could stay intact.

If Litecoin closes below $46 on the daily timeframe, it may be appropriate to reduce part of the position, as this could indicate that the breakout is losing momentum. The remaining position could then remain active until the protective Stop Loss around $43 is reached.

For now, Litecoin presents a constructive technical picture after breaking above its June trading range and successfully accepting higher prices. Holding above the $46 support zone keeps the focus on the $53, $55, and $61 Buy-Side Liquidity targets, while a daily close below this area may weaken the bullish setup and call for more active position management.
