With GTC now trading around $0.24 after a recent rejection from higher levels, the market is approaching an important test. The next move could depend on whether buyers can defend the main support areas and eventually overcome the resistance that has so far limited the recovery.

GTCUSD - 1 Week Time Frame
After forming a local low around $0.06, GTC traded sideways for several weeks before gradually beginning to form higher highs and higher lows. This shift created a more constructive market structure, with the token now up more than 270% from its local bottom and trading around $0.24.
The first and most important support area below the current price is located around $0.18. If GTC returns to this level, it could attract renewed buyer interest. However, the reaction itself would not be the only important signal. A higher-timeframe close below $0.18 could weaken the current bullish structure and increase the possibility of a deeper correction.
If $0.18 fails to hold, the next significant support is located around $0.09. Buyer activity around this area would be important to monitor. A strong reaction followed by a sustained recovery above the level could suggest that selling pressure is beginning to fade and that buyers may be regaining control. A return to a clear sequence of higher lows and higher highs would provide stronger confirmation that the short-term trend is improving again.
If bullish momentum resumes, the first major upside target is the resistance area around $0.36. This level previously preceded a significant decline and has also recently rejected the price, making it an important test for buyers.
A brief move above $0.36 would not necessarily confirm a breakout. A sustained close above this area, followed by an ability to hold it during a potential pullback, could strengthen the bullish scenario. Conversely, a return and close below the zone after a breakout could increase the risk of a false breakout.
If GTC manages to establish itself above $0.36, attention could shift toward the next target around $0.48–$0.50. This area is particularly important because it includes the psychologically significant $0.50 level, where increased selling pressure or profit-taking could emerge.
Above this zone, the next potential target is located around $0.59, followed by the final major target near $0.82. A sustained breakout above $0.82, followed by an ability to hold the level during a potential retest, could further strengthen the broader bullish structure. A brief move above the level without sustained price acceptance, however, would provide weaker confirmation.
From a broader perspective, GTC's next challenge is turning its sharp recovery into a more sustained uptrend. Holding key support areas and confirming breakouts above resistance could remain more important than simply reaching higher price targets.
