XMRUSD - 1 Day Time Frame
The most important feature of the current XMR setup is the liquidity profile that has been developing since June 19. Price has shown many of the typical characteristics of liquidity accumulation on both sides of the market, with no decisive directional expansion over the past 12 days.
The first visible signal is the slowdown in price activity. During this period, XMR has not made any significant move outside the established range, suggesting that both Buy-Side Liquidity around $340 and Sell-Side Liquidity around $290 are gradually building above and below the current structure.
From a trading perspective, it is not necessary to predict which side of liquidity price will target first. A liquidity sweep alone is never enough to validate a trade setup, as confirmation is still required after the sweep occurs.
Based on the current structure, a potential long or short position may become relevant only if price first takes one side of liquidity and then immediately produces a strong impulsive move in the opposite direction. Such a reaction could indicate that larger market participants have entered positions following the liquidity sweep, increasing the probability of continuation in the direction of that reversal.
In other words, if XMR takes Buy-Side Liquidity and then reacts sharply lower, the market could begin favoring bearish price delivery. Conversely, if price takes Sell-Side Liquidity and then responds with a strong bullish impulse, the probability may shift toward a continuation to the upside.
For now, patience remains the preferred approach. XMR continues to trade within a well-defined range where liquidity is building on both sides, but the market has yet to provide a confirmed directional signal.
The key will be to wait for price to sweep either $340 or $290 and then closely monitor the reaction that follows. Only a strong countermove after the liquidity sweep could provide a clearer indication of which direction is more likely to develop next.
