US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) extended their positive flow streak to seven consecutive trading days on Tuesday, recording $314.37 million in net inflows. The latest inflows lifted the August total to $3.03 billion, leaving the funds around $390 million below the $3.42 billion recorded in October 2025, with four trading sessions still remaining, according to SoSoValue data.

August is therefore on pace to become the strongest month for US spot Bitcoin ETFs since October, while the recent rebound has reduced year-to-date net outflows by more than half to $2.26 billion. Total net assets across the funds reached $99.05 billion, while cumulative net inflows increased to $54.36 billion.

Bitcoin ETFs build momentum in August

The seven-day inflow streak reflects a sharp recovery in demand after a weaker period earlier in the year. With several trading sessions still left in August, spot Bitcoin ETFs are approaching their strongest monthly performance in nearly a year. At the time of publication, Bitcoin was trading around $78,880, down roughly 2% over the previous 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. BTC had briefly moved above $80,000 on Tuesday before pulling back.

Market sentiment cools despite strong ETF flows

Broader crypto market sentiment weakened slightly even as ETF demand remained strong. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index fell to 65 from 74 a day earlier, according to Alternative.me, although sentiment remained in “Greed” territory. The decline suggests that investors have become somewhat more cautious following Bitcoin’s recent rally, despite continued institutional inflows into spot ETFs.

Ether ETFs also extend inflow streak

US spot Ether ETFs also recorded a seventh consecutive trading day of net inflows. The funds attracted $179.8 million on Tuesday, bringing total inflows across the seven-day period to around $1 billion, according to SoSoValue data. The simultaneous inflow streaks across both Bitcoin and Ether ETFs point to renewed institutional demand for the two largest crypto assets.
