Crypto investigator and popular YouTuber Coffeezilla has recently exposed mixed martial arts fighter Dillon Danis, baiting him into promoting a rather fake NFT project with the goal of highlighting the low due diligence of celebrities and the low credibility of their crypto promotions.

According to the YouTuber, Dillon Danis was paid $1,000 to promote a fake NFT project named “Sourz” on Twitter which Coffeezilla noted that the Tweet’s image and website URL “literally spells out S.C.A.M.” and that this was not the first incident where the MMA fighter was caught promoting scam crypto/NFT projects.

On the Dillon Danis webpage of the SourzNFT website, Coffeezilla highlighted over 20 crypto projects were Danis was found promoting crypto projects for money without disclosing that these promotions were ads, and then attempting to delete the evidence from the Internet later.

The NFT boom across the past several years witnessed the rise of many scam projects which were promoted by celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Tai Lopez, Donald Trump and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
