USA Politicians are Promoting Crypto
A recent session on the famous YouTube channel Simply Bitcoin was focused on increasing Bitcoin acceptance in the United States. Several recent stories regarding the different states in the US attempting to embrace Bitcoin were discussed throughout the session.
Not just Bitcoin, but also the connected activities that underpin cryptocurrencies must be protected. Texas, dubbed Bitcoin Country, is leading the way in this regard. The state has previously issued an 84-page official study stating its complete support for Bitcoin.
The paper published by The Working Group on Blockchain Matters also recommended that Texas purchase Bitcoin, establish self-custody protection legislation, including mining tax advantages, and implement Bitcoin teaching in schools.
Former Texas energy grid chief Brad Jones was quoted as praising the advent of many Bitcoin miners in the state. It assisted them in resolving a lingering difficulty of grid balance by absorbing the majority of the created energy.
In 2022, some Bitcoin miners relocated to Texas from China, where all cryptocurrency operations, including mining, were prohibited. Conducive weather conditions and the availability of power became the draw for locations such as Texas, which are now mining centres in the sector.
