On 7th of February 2023, Brave Software revealed a collaboration with the Solana blockchain platform through their official Twitter account. The open-source browser will now support Solana's decentralized applications (dApps) and enable users to perform DeFi and NFT transactions easily on both mobile and web versions.
With 50 million monthly active users, this integration could boost Solana's ecosystem after its early performance with the rise of meme coin, Bonk, and the collapse of FTX.
Solana, known as one of the top-performing digital currencies and an Ethereum killer, needs a positive fundamental to rekindle its ecosystem. Solana blockchain's fast, low-cost transactions are driving the growth of DeFi and Web3.
Its high speed allows it to overcome the high transaction fees that have hindered Ethereum. Brave, which is becoming more popular in the Web 3.0 space, has the potential to reach a wider audience seeking fast and user-friendly ways to use crypto on the go.
At the time of writing, Solana's price has increased by 1.60% to 23.20 USD in the past 24 hours, signaling potential anticipation and support from the community for the partnership.
