The Shiba Inu ecosystem coined as ‘Shibarium’ will potentially be released in the upcoming month of August, according to the remarks made by lead developer Shytoshi Kusama during in a blog post.

Kusama stated that the highly-anticipated release of layer 2, Shibarium, may occur during the Blockchain Futurist Conference, ETHWomen and ETHToronto hackathons which are set to commence in Canada in August of the current year. Furthermore, he highlighted that this is quite a significant event as it aligns with the third anniversary since the Shina Inu project was launched.

In the announcement, Kusama said that the Shiba Inu ecosystem shall represent the title sponsor of the upcoming Blockchain

Futurist Conference and the official hackathons of ETHToronto and ETHWomen. The lead developer will also make an appearance through artificial intelligence (AI) technology and deliver a speech during a conference held on the same day in which Shibarium is expected to be released.

Conference attendees will learn about the detailed information surrounding the Treat token for the first time through the project’s “world paper” which is also intended to announce the new projects stemming from the Shibarium initiative, such as those which utilize Shibarium Tech.

During the conference, two booths will showcase Shibarium’s offerings which include Shiba Inu-themed products, services and platforms including Shiboshis, Shibacals, Shib the Metaverse and more.
