The most popular cryptocurrencies around the world

Since the popularity of cryptocurrency is getting bigger and easier to get, we have decided to make research, what cryptocurrencies are the most popular or the most searched for around the world.

In Europe, the most popular are Bitcoin and Shiba Inu. In Some countries there are also Ethereum and Cardano, and the least popular among the 5 is Doge Coin, which is interesting, because in USA the most popular is Doge Coin. In America, meme coin is followed by Ethereum and Bitcoin, and only then there is Shiba Inu. Only in Colorado, the most searched coin is Cardano. Dogecoin’s popularity in USA is believed to be tied with Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla, who made a lot of fuss about it, and he is the one of the people who helped the popularity of Dogecoin to grow in the first place. He was also one of the first owners, that announced it will be possible to buy their products with this meme coin. In DOGE community he was also named to be Dogefather. With Elon saying he will buy Twitter the popularity of mentioned coin went up again.

In Asia, opinions are mixed. In Japan for example, they are more prone to XRP or Cardano, in South Korea the prefer their local projects like Enjin and Luna. China believes the most in the latest trend – Filecoin.

Australia and Africa believe in Bitcoin the most.
