Mango Labs, the parent company of decentralized finance (DeFi) platform Mango Markets has filed a lawsuit of its own against exploiter Avraham Eisenberg which has recently been under the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) radar for stealing around $116 million worth of crypto on the platform.
The new lawsuit which marks the fourth instance where Avraham Eisenberg has been hit by allegations due to his platform attack wishes to seek $47 million in damages plus interest, accrued from the start of the attack.
The market manipulator was arrested and jailed in Puerto Rico last December, and 2023 was not so merciful, with Mango Markets, the SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) all participating in a frenzy of allegations.
