Once upon time, 1 COMP was worth more than $800. After marking its all-time high in May of 2021, the trajectory for Compound’s digital currency has gone downhill ever since. The value of COMP has been hammered in late 2021 following the calamity of a buggy software update, and the coin dwindled throughout 2022 but remained impressively stable in 2023.
COMP found its bottom in June of 2021 at a worrying $27 per coin, but ever since then, the price of Compound has been consolidating by the $30 to $60 playfield to this day, and is currently priced at $43.81 a coin. Should liquidity change hands from Bitcoin to other altcoins, Compound may witness sharp rallies in the coming months.
The price of COMP has already reversed the daunting downtrend by making higher highs during this year, time and time again. If the price breaches the potential resistance zone by the $70 to $80 range, the $100 price-tag may be quite favorable for Compound buyers and bulls.
This can only mark the start of the long-awaited COMP rally which can witness the rise to $110 or even towards the next resistance zone situated near the $160 mark.
