HyperPlay, a game launcher that is native to the Web3 ecosystem and has an integrated crypto wallet, has revealed that it will be available for early access. The launcher is a collaborative effort with MetaMask, a crypto wallet provider, and is aimed at connecting gamers' crypto wallets to popular game libraries such as GOG, Epic Games Store, and its own HyperPlay Store.

The founder of this new platform is JacobC.eth, a former operations lead at MetaMask. The platform will not charge developers any commission but will instead rely on crypto services like swaps and bridges to generate revenue.

Developed in partnership with MetaMask, the online game launcher allows players to connect their crypto wallets with game libraries like Epic Games Store, GOG, and its own HyperPlay Store. HyperPlay aims to monetize the platform through crypto services like swaps and bridges rather than commissions from developers.

Users of the alpha version can create new MetaMask wallets within the interface or import their existing wallets. HyperPlay's platform has launched with 21 Web3 titles, including DeFi Kingdoms and The Sandbox, and is linked to Epic Games and GOG stores. The platform allows players to start games they own from other platforms.
