The Google for Startups Cloud Program has just expanded to include Web3 and blockchain giants such as Polygon, Near, Flow, Alchemy and Aptos. As of April 25, the program which aims to boost startup acceleration includes 11 firms alongside Alphabet-owned Google.
On the same day, blockchains analytics pioneer Nansen, which has a database containing more than 250 million wallet labels, announced that it has established a partnership with Google Cloud with the focus on providing real-time blockchain data for startups. Nansen co-founder and CEO Alex Svanevik commented that this partnership allows Nansen to “provide real-time intelligence to level the crypto playing field.”
Currently, Google Cloud provides two product suites for Web3 startups, distinguished by whether the startups have raised funding or not. Pre-seed companies can receive up to $2,000 in Google Cloud credits which are valid for two years, alongside access to exclusive events which Google participates in, including Paris Blockchain Week and Consensus.
Startups which raised funding already, on the other hand, have access to heaps of services and funds within the Web3-cenetered program Seeded can enjoy benefits which include $200,000 over two years for Google Cloud and Firebase usage, credits worth $12,000 in Google Cloud Enhanced Support plus 12 months of free Google Workspace Business Plus subscription.
