Switzerland-based nonprofit foundation, the Tezos Foundation, announced that it had formed an alliance with Google Cloud, to allow users of Google’s cloud computing business to deploy Tezos nodes as well as to establish and develop Web3 applications on the blockchain.
This partnership will enable companies and developers to host and deploy RPC (Remote Procedure Call) nodes for use on Web3 applications in the Tezos blockchain. The announcement stated:
“The Tezos Foundation will provide new and existing Google Cloud customers access to its corporate baking program. Through the program, Tezos will offer Google Cloud customers that are interested in building Web3 applications, easy deployment of nodes and indexers on the Tezos protocol.”
Google has been recently capitalizing on the growth in artificial intelligence (AI) adoption by investing vast amounts of funds in the industry, notable the chatbot phenomenon which has taken the world by storm.
