Mays Business School and the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University will now offer its first ever cryptocurrency-related educational course named “Bitcoin Protocol”, as announced by Associate Professor Korok Ray who took to Twitter to share his excitement on delivering this program.
In a 4-part Twitter thread, Ray stated that the “Programming Bitcoin” course will succeed Bitcoin Protocol, and that it wasn’t a smooth ride getting the approval from the school’s relevant curriculum committee to deliver the course.
It took months of hard work and regular correspondence, but the course has finally received the green light to debut in Spring. Texas A&M joins the bundle of higher education organizations that offer crypto-focused courses, including Harvard University, Oxford University and Cornell University.
