ChatGPT Goes Live on Hedera Network

The artificial intelligence chatbot which has taken the world by storm, ChatGPT, has went live on the Hedera Network and thus establishing a direct convergence of blockchain and artificial intelligence.

Utilizing the Hedera (HBAR) cryptocurrency native to the Hedera Network, ChatGPT can ensure secure interactions within the network, such as granting that chatbot users with direct access to Hedera’s tools including the Hedera Consensus Service, Hedera Token Service and Smart Contract Service.

Hedera developer Ed Marquez took to Twitter to provide instructions on how to create the ChatGPT plugin, which mostly focus on token balances of Hedera accounts. Marquez states that users can view account balances via a network explorer or retrieve them programmatically through the mirror node Rest application programming interface (API).

By using this plugin and achieving integration between ChatGPT and the Hedera network, users can retrieve HBAR token balances from Hedera accounts; thus, simplifying asset monitoring and management for traders while also streamlining the operations between ChatGPT and the network.
