Powered by blockchain data platform Allium, the dashboard tracks stablecoins with more than $100 million in circulation. According to Bloomberg, the assets included represent more than 98% of the overall stablecoin market.
The new dashboard allows users to compare stablecoins across several metrics, including circulating supply, mints, burns, transfer volume and velocity. Users can also analyze activity based on the blockchain network and the type of asset to which each stablecoin is pegged, including fiat currencies and commodities.
The dashboard is available to all Bloomberg Terminal subscribers through RWAS <GO>. Stablecoin onchain data is presented alongside Bloomberg’s existing fixed-income, foreign exchange and money-market tools, giving financial professionals access to digital asset information within the same platform used for traditional markets.
Bloomberg Terminal is widely used by banks, asset managers and other financial professionals for real-time market information, news, analytics, trading and communications. Bloomberg first introduced Bitcoin pricing to the Terminal in 2014. Its crypto coverage has since expanded to include pricing, reference data, identifiers and benchmarks for 50 cryptocurrencies.
The addition of dedicated stablecoin analytics further expands the platform’s coverage of digital assets as stablecoins become increasingly integrated with financial markets.
The launch comes as the total stablecoin market capitalization has climbed above $306 billion, according to DeFiLlama data. Tether’s USDT remains the dominant stablecoin, accounting for approximately 60% of the overall market.
