When exploring the Google Trends tool, it is quite astonishing to see that Bitcoin remains as the most Google-searched term in the United States, despite growing discussions around entertainment, politics, guns, and Donald Trump.
Data from Ahrefs revealed that the “most Bitcoin-crazy state” is Nevada, home of Las Vegas. This comes as a surprise to many Americans and non-American citizens as former U.S. President Donald Trump has swamped headlines time and time again in recent times, but this time, the winner that is Trump is in second place behind Bitcoin.
In the last 30 days, Bitcoin has a U.S. search volume of 1.9 million in the United States, and 12 million worldwide, while Donald Trump was searched 1.5 million times in USA and 2.6 million worldwide throughout the past month.
In third place in the United States would be the term “Breaking News”, followed by the music icon Elvis Presley, Disney World, and Spiderman. Previous months witnessed the popularity of terms surrounding health insurance, guns and politics, but this month seems a little more bright.
