BITmarkets Tutorial | How To Deposit Fiat?
Before being able to deposit fiat into your BITmarkets wallet, you must first complete your profile by providing your personal information, residential address details and verifying your identity & residency by uploading the necessary documents.
Once that’s done, follow these quick steps to deposit fiat into your BITmarkets wallet:
1. Log in to your BITmarkets account, and head over to your myZone portal.
2. Next, click on the Deposit button and toggle the Fiat option.
3. Enter the amount you would like to deposit in the fiat currency of your choice.
4. Select the payment method preferred, which are credit/debit cards or bank transfer.
- If you selected credit/debit cards as your payment method option, you will be redirected to the payment portal where you’ll be required to provide details of your payment method, before proceeding with the digital deposit.
Funds by payment card are instantly credited to your BITmarkets wallet. For credit/debit card deposits, the minimum deposit requirement is $10 or equivalent when denominated in any other fiat currency.
- If you selected bank transfer as your payment method option, wire transfer instructions will be sent to your email inbox, as well as in your notifications center in your personalized myZone portal.
Bank transfer deposits are typically credited to your BITmarkets wallet in a few business days, and are subject to a $100 minimum deposit requirement or equivalent when denominated in any other fiat currency.
Depending on the fiat deposit option, BITmarkets charges a small fee from the nominal value. The deposit fees charged by BITmarkets are noted under each payment method option.
Please be aware that any fiat deposits and withdrawals are subject to bank charges/remittance fees/transfer fees, and BITmarkets is not responsible for the application of these charges.
