BITmarkets Tutorial | How To Verify Documents?
After creating an account at BITmarkets, you must complete your profile in order to start trading.
Here are the steps to completing your profile:
1. Log in to your BITmarkets account, and head over to your myZone portal.
2. Under My Account, head over to the Account Info page.
3. Provide your personal information and enter your residential address details.
4. Make a deposit into your BITmarkets wallet.
5. Verify your Identity and Residency.
To verify your identity, click on the Document Verification section in the Account Info page. For your proof of identity, you may upload a government-issued identity card, driving license or your passport.
To verify your residency/address, you may upload one of the following documents, with the issue date being less than 3 months:
- Bank Statement
- Credit Card Bill
- Utility Bill
- Gas Bill
- Official letter which includes full name, address, date & issuer
Please make sure that all documents uploaded are readable, and that they include accurate information.
After uploading your documents, you may check the status of the document verification. Typically, documents are verified on the same day of the upload date.
If the documents have been rejected, you may reupload them or select a different document type. Documents are rejected if the information is deemed inaccurate, or the document is not fully readable.

Once your documents have been approved, the status will change to Approved, which means that your BITmarkets account has been fully verified and you can now start trading.
