Shib accepted as payment in 65 countries

The Shib Army is relieved that the number of Shiba Inu (SHIB) adoptions is increasing. Lavu has launched a new cross-distribution partnership with Verifone's FLEX payment system, which runs on the Advanced Payment Methods platform. SHIB will now be accepted in hundreds of restaurants across more than 65 nations on the program's roster. This is a significant boost for SHIB's already vast user base.

Lavu is a point-of-sale software provider that assists restaurants in running their operations. Verifone is a prominent electronic payment solutions company. The two firms have been collaborating for some time, and this new partnership will make SHIB available to even more individuals. Restaurants may now take a number of payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and digital wallets, using the FLEX system. SHIB will now be added to the approved payment methods list.

There are many other companies that accepts cryptocurrency as a payment – not necessarily only SHIB. Some of the are:

Mastercard, which last year announced that they will allow partners on their network to buy, sell and hold cryptocurrency. This move allowed customers to earn rewards in form of crypto and not in form of loyalty points, as it was practiced until now.

Pavilion Hotels and Resorts, which is Hong Kong based, became the first international hotel chain that allows crypto payments. This one is very important for the overall development because they are all around the world. They also said that they will accept payments with 40 different cryptocurrencies.

-        Amazon,

-        PayPal, and many more.

Here are advantages and disadvantages of paying with crypto. Advantages are lower fees, better payment security and transactions are irreversible, which can be a double-edged sword.

Disadvantages are, that it is extremely risky, and it is subject to tax – in many countries, when you receive crypto, you are subject to tax.
